Because ATVs are often used for off-roading, etc., they consume more tires. Among the accessories of vehicles, tires are still relatively expensive, so it is usually necessary to maintain ATV tires.
1. During high-speed driving, the ATV must keep the distance between the vehicles and avoid unnecessary or frequent braking (braking). This will effectively reduce the damage to the outer tire and inner tube of the motorcycle. Always pay attention to the depth of the tire pattern, because the pattern When it is close to grinding, the friction with the road surface will be reduced, the braking distance will be long, and do not drive at high speed.
2. The maintenance of ATV tires also depends on the tire load. The tire load corresponds to the air pressure. If the tire load is too high, it will be similar to low air pressure, which will damage the tire. If it is often overloaded, the service life of the tire will be shortened. It will be 20%-50% less, and the wrong loading method will make the tire load unevenly, which will reduce the life of individual tires.
3. The tire inflation pressure must conform to the air pressure specified by the national standard for different types and specifications of tires. If the tire pressure is too high or insufficient, it will cause damage to the groove bottom, delamination of the ply, abnormal wear, tire burst, etc. If you continue to drive at high speed, the air pressure should be increased by 5%-10% above the standard air pressure; Afterwards, the internal air will rise due to the increase in temperature, and the air cannot be released at this time.
4. Rotate the tires properly (insist on checking the tires during the primary and secondary maintenance of the vehicle), the tire wear must be kept uniform, and the service life must be extended, and the tires with a slightly larger outer diameter should be installed on the outer wheel.
5. Do not use the front wheel for tire refurbishment. The front wheel adopts vertical stripe pattern, and the rear wheel adopts horizontal stripe pattern.
6. The tire wear is at the wear mark and needs to be replaced. In winter, the temperature is relatively low, supplement the tire pressure, maintain the specified pressure range, and check the tire scratches. , Inclusions in the tread should be cleaned up by the market.
